Default Outlook 2007 "sent items" contents invisible

I still don't think you've understood !

The problem existed in the ORIGINAL PST -The original PST is the one that
concealed the emails.

OK, I'm now using the original PST file and the sent items folder shows
there are 128 items but they are not visible i.e. the emails cannot be seen.
How can I make them visible ?

Regards

Les Blake

I clearly didn't explain the problem properly. It was on a new
computer, new Vista and new outlook 2007. The files were invisible
from the getgo so, having tried everything else, I resorted to
creating the new pst and importing from the original.

As I already said NEVER export to or import from a PST. It's unnecessary,
you lose data, and can wind up with other side effects as well. Again:
USE THE ORIGINAL PST.

At first I
thought it had worked, the emails were visible, but it then reverted
to the invisible as before. As I said, the file count is ok but I'd
prefer to be able to see the contents of the sent items folder.

What "file count" are you talking about? PSTs don't contain files. A PST
is one, single file.
