Default Address Book management

Hi Fred,

I would export addresses (as a comma-separated values file) from OE in each
identity, then use these files to import each set of addresses into OE
(again) using two identities. You could also try exporting each address book
as a *.wab file, then use these files when importing. It would not hurt to
export each set of address as a *.wab file and as a *.csv file. There are
drawbacks to each method so one might work best for you.

Tips for exporting as a CSV file are on the page
http://home.earthlink.net/~kuaytim/exportwab.htm

Do you have a more specific follow-up question?

Thanks for the response, Tim. But I really don't understand. Could you
please expand?

Hi Fred,

You could export addresses from each identity (as a comma-separated values
file, or *csv file) and import them into corresponding separate
identities.
For one main identity, since OE uses only one default WAB file, you could
use a free standing WAB file for one group of addresses. This (free
standing) book could not be used to auto-complete addresses when sending
e-mail.

I have one computer with OE that has two identities for OE, each with
their
own Address Book. If I want to export each one of those two Address Books
to a new computer with OE and want to continue to keep them separate, how
do
I do that?
