Default Can't Send or Receive

Milly,

I was the "guru" at Steve's place yesterday. The ISP entries are correct.
POP is pop.west.cox.net and SMTP is smtp.west.cox.net

I will be going back this morning and will delete and re-add the accounts
and the profile.

Thanks,
Chuck

Sending/receiving has little to do with the .pst file(s). Have you looked
to your ISP to see that you are using the correct settings? Have you tried
deleting and re-adding your mail account(s)?

Have you tried a new mail profile and connected that one to your saved 49 mb
..pst file?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Steve asked:

| Windows Vista Ultimate, Office Outlook 2007
|
| Starting 10/1 I haven't been able to send or receive. My ISP has
| reviewed all settings. My Computer Club guru has been here for an
| hour and can't determine the cause.
|
| We have moved a PST from my laptop (running Windows XP and Office
| Outlook 2007) and opened the Data file on the Vista system. It
| appears to be empty, yet the PST size is 49MB.
|
| Any Thoughts?
