Default Phone Numbers Dialog Box won't open

I can't follow your last comment. Sorry.

In outlook 2007, with XP running, I cannot access the fields of the phone
numbers, such as; Buiness, fax, mobile and home, the dialog box won't open. I
verified my location (default) which is English Canada.

Besides that I can't offer a better description

Where did you mention that you ran Detect and Repair?
Where did you mention that you confirmed your default dialing location?
I can read. I saw no mention of either. Is there some other post somewhere?
If not, perhaps you can save us both some time by providing a clear and
accurate description of what you did to cause the problem and what you have
done so far to correct it.

Thank you for your prompt reply, I use XPSP2 and I am in English Canada
I did as mentioned, detect and repair and verified the default dial
location
for my Operating system, do unfortunately it did not solve the current
problem.

Make sure your default dialing location is set correctly for your
operating
system.

In outlook 2007, when I am entering a new contact, the fields of the
phone
Numbers (ie: Business, Home, Fax, etc) won't open after clicking the
field.
I can however enter a phone in the empty field to the right of the box,
but
cannot open the phone fields. The other Boxes such as; Full Name,
Buisness
and e-mail function just fine.

I did something to my PC when I uograded my office suite and also did
alot
of cleaning to my registry, with registry cleaner software, maybe
there's
a
function I accidently removed?

thank you in advance and hopefully I was clear enough to be understood.
