Thanks for your help. I found two copies of "Pop3uidl.dbx" and deleted
them both. I Opened up my wife's account and went to Outlook Express. To
my delight, it began downloading current emails and only one copy of each.
I then sent some test emails and still only one copy of each was received.
It appears that the corrupted dbx file was the problem. Again thank you.
Regards,
Bill

I am running Windows XP Pro with Outlook Express 6 and my computer is set
up with three accounts. My wife is having a problem with her email.
When goes to her account and opens Outlook Express it begins to download
multiple duplicate copies of email from the server. There is generated
six copies of each email message she receives. So if she received 10
email messages, she's is inundated with 60 copies of email. I have
searched through the "Options" have found no settings to account for the
problem. The other two accounts for myself and my son experience no such
problem with multiple emails. I search of the MS Knowledge base found no
applicable information. Any help with this problem is appreciated.
Regards,
Bill
