Default start time of a meeting not displayed in monthly view

make the window wider - either by sliding the navigation pane to the left or
the to-do or task pane to the right.

I have looked at others' computer and see the start time of a meeting
displayed in front of the meeting description. On my machine the start
time
only shows when I put my cursor over the meeting.

How do I reconfigure to display start times in monthly calendar view?
