The subject above was discussed back in July or August. The preferred
solution was to remove norton av and replace with other av software. I had
the same thing happening, but since I rarely switched users I chose to live
with the problem. For some reason I tried switching users and had no problem
retreiving mail. Has one of the recent updates corrected this error
