Gunner, we seem to have a similar problem. I am running windows xp Home and
use Oex6 for e-mail, utilising AVG software for virus protection. I am able
to receive mail as per normal but when I attempt to either reply to a mail or
create a new mail I receive an error window which only states that "The
Address Book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured,
please re-install." I have re-installed twice - no change! This is a recent
event for me because up until 24th Oct all was fine! Having opened OEX6 and
attempted to click on address book I get the same error.
However, when I open Outlook the address book/contacts works fine and I can
send mail so where is the problem? Anyone any ideas?
When you find out the answer to your problem maybe I can sort mine too!!

provider so I know all the ins and outs are correct. Went to sent test mail,
clicked the "Create Mail" button and got an error message "There was an

through windows components in add and remove with no change.
2- Can not opem emails that have attachments and some without do not show
all information in them.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to correct this problem without wiping
