Default Move emails

I didn't even own a computer until OE6 was the thing, but from hanging in
this newsgroup, you should be able to do it via the link I supplied:
http://www.insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#importOE4

Copy the folders to a CD and download them on the new machine. I don't even
know if MBX files had a Read Only attribute, but if it did, you would have
to remove it after you copy the CD to the new machine. Then from the new
OE6: File | Import | Messages and select MS OE4 from the list.

Otherwise, we will have to see if one of the *elders* have a better
solution.

Bruce,
I didn't choose tools, accounts in error.
I made sure I double checked that I was clicking on Tools, Options.
Not seeing anything that said maintenance or store folder I then clicked
on
a tab that says advanced.
Upon clicking that, I still did not see any maintenance tab or store foler
tab.
Is it possible that the maintenance and store folders tabs were not a part
of
version 4.72?

There is no Advanced Tab in Tools | Options. Did you choose Tools |
Accounts in error? Tools | Options | Maintenance should show you this:

Bruce,
I looked on the old computer today. Went into Outlook Express, Tools,
Options and there is no maintenance or store folder.
I clicked on the advanced tab and again, nothing that showed
maintenance.

I don't know where you read this. Tools | Options | Maintenance shows
where
the files are stored only. There's no mention of Import or Export
under
Tools in either of these links. You will have to explain in more
detail.
