Although my old machine has a cd drive, I am not sure I can use it for data
or to copy things. I only used it to play music cd's.
This machine like I say is old, it has Windows 95 and of course, OE 4.72
I will stick a blank cd in it tomorrow and see what happens.

Copy the folders to a CD and download them on the new machine. I don't even
know if MBX files had a Read Only attribute, but if it did, you would have
to remove it after you copy the CD to the new machine. Then from the new
OE6: File | Import | Messages and select MS OE4 from the list.

Otherwise, we will have to see if one of the *elders* have a better
solution.

I made sure I double checked that I was clicking on Tools, Options.
Not seeing anything that said maintenance or store folder I then clicked
on
a tab that says advanced.
Upon clicking that, I still did not see any maintenance tab or store foler
tab.
Is it possible that the maintenance and store folders tabs were not a part
of
version 4.72?
