Default Reminder not working

Outlook 2007. My reminders not working.

I Outlook help and I reviewed Arcticle ID: 926443 "You cannot display tasks,
reminders, and flagged items in the To-Do Bar if you use a .pst file in
Outlook 2007." It states the workaround as follows: "To work around this
issue, click to select the Display reminders and tasks from this folder in
the To-Do Bar check box in Outlook 2007. To do this, right-click the personal
folder, click Properties, click to select the Display reminders and tasks
from this folder in the To-Do Bar check box, and then click OK."
The problem is that when I right click properties it does not give me the
check box for the "Display reminders and tasks from this folder in the To-Do
Bar check box, and then click OK."
Can this be fixed?
