To change existing items so that they display using a published custom message form, you need to change the value of the MessageClass property on each item so that it points to the published form's class, e.g. IPM.Contact.MyForm. We have a contact type public folder. I have redesigned the form to
include a new tab with four user defined fields present.

Thought I should add we can view the tab on contacts created with the new
form, it is only on older contacts we are unable to see the new tab.
