Default Problem opening photo attachments & word documents

See the Identifying Attachment File Types and Setting File Associations
section of
Decoding Internet Attachments - A Tutorial
http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_san...e.htm#identify

To open an attachment within OE under XP SP2, the file association for
the file type must have an OPEN action. If not, you get the problem
that you have. When you save an attachment and then double click it,
Windows uses the Default action, which is not necessarily OPEN. It
might be something such as EDIT or DISPLAY or SHOW. The fix is to
create an OPEN action that has the same command line as the default
action.

I have the same problem. When I double click a jpg attachment, I get
the
following error message. "This file does not have a program

it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder
Options
Control Panel". I suspect that latest SP 2 upgrade in last two weeks
caused
the problem. If I save the attachment to hard drive, can open the
file by
double clicking. I have tried everything to change the file
association to
use the Kodak EasyShare program, but to no avail. Any ideas?
