Very odd... this is a real long shot but you might want to run ScanPST.EXE
on your PST file

That's what boggles me. It used to work fine and it should work fine
but it's not and i dont know what's wrong.

even searching the notes folder which are simple text files is not
working. to test i even search for a text to a note that is on top of
the list and i can see staring right at me. when i search it says no
results. mind boggling!
