adding sound to background
All the settings are as you state. Sound is wav file. Steve T.

I created a small .gif animation and sent it with OE and a song inserted
in the background. Went to FormatBackground and insert sound. When I sent
it to myself it came in as both, even though I received a warning that one
or more images could not be found. But when I sent the email to two other
people the same way, they only received the animation and not the sound.
What did I do wrong? One recipient is running Thunderbird and did not
receive the sound. Thank you, Steve T.
