Folks, help appreciated!

The problem:
Outlook Express hangs. I have it configured with my Gmail account & it
worked fine until recently. I start OE up, McAfee processes messages and then
it just freezes. Problems began when I installed Spamfighter
(http://www.spamfighter.com/) - since uninstalled.

Event Log:
Hanging application msimn.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, hang module hungapp,
version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.
