Default exporting to excel

The ISAM drivers are part of Microsoft Jet 4.0 and suggest you re-install
the appropriate Jet package for the O/S you are using. Somewhere along the
line - those got removed or corrupted. These are universal drivers and are
not specific to MS Outlook. Any programs that depend on those drivers will
not work if missing from your system.

Current release is Jet 4.0 SP8 and for Win'XP can be found here (do a search
if using a different O/S):

What am I changing or removing? I get translator error message too. Today,
I
got a new one that ISAM was not installed? HELP

But did you do what Russ suggested and try to install that particular
component directly. Go to COntrol Panel | Add/Remove Programs, select
OFfice, and choose Change/Remove.

I'm getting the same translator missing message...I have Outlook 2003
and
I
just installed SP1 - I had already reinstalled the software from CD. I
have
XP Pro. Sent a support request to MS 2 days ago. No word. Did anyone
figure this one out? Thanks

Now you see why you should always post your Office or Outlook version.
Do
so
now.
You can always launch it from the Office CD.

Receive error message when trying to export contact list to
excel.
The
error message states "microsoft outlook cannot start the required
translator". I have tried reinstalling XP, and still receive the
error
message. Any ideas?
