I've followed your solutions for others so here's my scenario:

After trying to Import into OE my 18 .dbx files (one is Folders.dbx), I

the message: No messages can be found in this folder or another
application
is running that has the required files open. Please select another folder

try closing applications that may have files open.

I have copied the files (each are not Read-Only) to another folder named
email, checked off the Read-Only mode, hit Apply, then close it out.
After
checking properties again, the email folder says it's Read-Only again but
each individual file is not. If this is the problem, how do I correct it?

Your help will be much appreciated.

FOLDERS.dbx
file. Once I included that it worked fine.
