Same place is irrelevenant. Is the GUID exactly the same? If so, adding them
back to the registry should have worked.

I exported message rules from the registry before changing to another
drive with an ealier installation of XP. Then I imported messages and
address book.

Then I restored the message rules to the registry. The store folder is in
exactly the same place on the new installation as the old, with the same
Identity. But the message rules aren't showing up at all.
