Default How do I connect to our Microsoft Exchange server for my email

I spoke with my administrator this a.m. and tells me we don't have a VPN. It
still doesn't know why I can connect at the office but not at my home.

I have installed Outlook 2007 and it will not connect to my
company's
Exchange server from my house. It will connect though if I'm at the
office.

My IT guy said everything is configured correctly on my machine.
What am I
missing?

You are off-domain from your corporate network when trying to connect
to their host from your home. It is likely that they require you to
use a VPN and use it when you are home. This is a secure connection
to their network so you can get at their internal hosts. Obviously
they don't want just any joker wandering in to use their mail server.
