Default Repair and Detect - how to restore

Why would you import Outlook data? This is an Outlook data file already.
Just open it.
Here are the instructions:
File Open Outlook Data File...
Pretty simple.

Just find the data file you were using before and open it. Search for
*.pst
and include hidden files when you do.

Hi,

I had a problem with my outlook an it asked me to select Detect and
Repair
under the Help menu, which I did. I chose to restore factory settings.
Having
done so I lost all the settings. I was able to find my stored messages
and
settings but seem to have lost my Contacts! Do you know where I could
find
them or if I could restore in some way?

Thx

Andrew

Hi Russ:

My outlook has dropped my contacts. I did a search and can find the pst
files but when I try to import them into my Outlook contacts, it tells me
the
source and destination files are the same.

How do I get them back to the correct location to use when sending emails.

Thanks for your help.
