I recently had to re-install my Outlook Exp6 and have been having a
password problem. In every step of the installation or upon setting
up my internet connection, I have, whenever required entered my
password. Even checked the box for the system (or program) to
remember the password. Each time I try to send/rec e-mail, I am
required to key in my password. My logon ID is there, and under
password I select to remember it. No luck. I am using OL Exp 6 and
running under windows XP sp2. Can someone help me NOT to be required
to key in my pw every time I read mail?

Since this is my FIRST experience using a news group, is it possible
to send any reply to me directly?
Yes, it is by defining "followup-to: poster" but it's rather rude
behavior. Usenet is some kind of a "public" place. All questions are
given to all people here and all people reading the group should be able
to read answers.
