I have the same problem.. on one of my machines it just stopped
working one day.. I rebuilt the database, I uninstalled desktop search
and reinstalled it.. I repaired Office 2007/Outlook 2007... nothing..
I ended up removing Windows Desktop Search and installing Google
Desktop.. On another laptop that points to the same Exchange
Account.. it works fine. It's very stange.
I'm using Windows XP/Office 2007... and have the same problem.

Hi All
I have Windows Vista Business Edition and Office 2007 Ultimate edition.
When working with Outlook, things were going fine till I lost the search
ability for a reason. I had restore the idexes to default and then
rebuild it.
Now when I search for something in OutlooK, I get no results although I
am sure that there should be.
Any advice?
