The Reading Pane doesn't display that information and you can't adjust it.
However, the received date is clearly shown in the table list above the
Reading Pane when you display it at the bottom (ViewReading PaneBottom) or
if you hover over the message in the table list when the Reding Pane is on
the right (ViewReading PaneRight).
