OE6 is part of IE6 and both are part of all XP installation CDs.
Go to the Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove
Windows Components. Make sure Outlook Express checked.
Reboot and then check: Start | All Programs. Is OE listed?
If not, copy this:
c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe
Start | Run and Paste it in | OK.
Now go to the Control Panel | Set Program Access and Defaults and set OE
as
default and then you should have the shortcut.

Just purchased a new computer for digital audio...from a boutique mfg.;
&
it
came loaded w/ XP Pro, SP2, 32-Bit.
I know this is a dumb question...I've long since forgotten...but Outlook
Express is nowhere to be found on this rig; & I was wondering...it's
actually part of the OS, or no? Is it available as a download from MS?
Is
it free? Do I go get a boxed copy from CompUSA?
Thanks,
mark4man
