Does Microsoft still support Outlook Express 6.0?
Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.

Yes, it is . . . on four different computers. It must be restarted
regularly to keep working.
Out of the blue I get "This message is no longer available" on every
message I try to read. As soon as I close the program and restart it
everything works for a while.
