Default RETARDED HERE...HELP...PLEASE

If the MSN accounts also fails in a new Named Identity (File Identitiese
Add new identity), this will confirm that the problem's on MSN/Hotmail's
end. Until it clears up, access the account at www.hotmail.com.

IN RE WinXP SP2:

1. Run a thorough check for hijackware, including posting your HijackThis
log to an appropriate forum.

Check for Hijackware

When all else fails, HijackThis (http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip)
is the preferred tool to use. It will help you to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware.

**Post your HijackThis log to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html, http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30 or
other appropriate forum for expert analysis, not here.**

2. Do not install SP2 until an expert gives your HijackThis log a clean bill
of health.

Thank you too Robear. Is there something going on that you're aware of
with msn? I feel much better already. I've just ordered (again) sp2 cd
but am very reluctant to install because of the severe problems I had the
last time I tried. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is the attitude but
I've been told that doesn't apply in this case.

This is a very rare MSN/Hotmail error and usually indicates temporary
problems on MSN/Hotmail's end. Should clear up automagically soon.

wanted to add this to my original dilemma in case anyone out there
knows how to help:

I'm hoping this is an easy fix. I'm always keeping computer clean,
running antiviral, spyware removal, etc. Now, all of a sudden and
continuously, outlook express 6.0 is acting up. Everytime I open
it, the message "some error occurred while processing requested
task" and "check for new messages - FAILED" appears. Also,
"service currently unavailable" message. My messages do get
downloaded but there's something definitely wrong. As well, I'm
noticing that IE goes to "temporarily not working...check your ie
connections....service may be temporarily
unavailable"......Eventually, with this too I'm able to get the
link I'm shooting for. I get nuts when things go wrong and I have
a feeling something is going wrong and can get a lot worse.
Anybody out there that can advise me?
