Default How do I convert my archive files to the newer format?

Thanks, Mr. Tillman. However, my "old" archive file (in Outlook
97-2002 format) is already named archive.pst. So unless I don't
understand what you're suggesting, it already appears to be a PST
file; but in the wrong format.

Using Windows Explorer, name the old file "archive.pst" to something like
"archive-old.pst" or "archive-2007.pst" so that it's not a file Outlook is
referencing. If the old PST is listed in the Folder List view of the
Navigation Pane, close it there first by right-clicking its root and
choosing Close. Then rename it.
