um sorry, it's late at night - the Date Navigator (not nav pane) will be on
the right hand side. What you called the mini months.

First step is to turn on the To do bar. The Navigation Pane will now be
on the right above the To Do Bar (it replaces the TaskPad). The To Do Bar
is not as flexible in its formatting as the TaskPad was though.
