Thanks to everyone who has replied, you've all given me plenty to think
about
and try.

I looked at this issue on the laptop briefly a few days ago and from
memory
I would say that there is some aliasing going on so I need to progress
that
angle.

Thanks again and when/if I resolve it I'll re-post.

Hi,

My friend has a laptop running Win XP plus latest updates and uses OE for
her email. She has three email accounts set up in OE, I'll call them A, B
and
C.

No matter which email account an email comes in on, when she replies OE
always inserts the email address associated with account B in to the
email.
Email account B is not the default email address.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

The ISP is the only one who can tell you if the three "accounts" are aliases
for the same mailbox.

One indication could come from a manual Send/Receive. In the progress
window see if account B is checked first. If it is, that would support the
alias theory (but not prove it). You can also use that window to see which
accounts are actually downloading messages.
