Thanks to everyone who has replied, you've all given me plenty to think about
and try.

I looked at this issue on the laptop briefly a few days ago and from memory
I would say that there is some aliasing going on so I need to progress that
angle.

Thanks again and when/if I resolve it I'll re-post.
