Sub Folders Become Folders
The corrupt folders.dbx file was probably replaced by a new folders.dbx.
I wouldn't be concerned.

They were under another folder with a Plus sign, which I called sub-folders.
Things seem to be working ok now, should I be concerned about a corrupt
folders.dbx?

Sub-folders are regular folders.
You can make them look like sub-folders.
When folders.dbx gets corrupted, the sub-folders become regular folders.

I don't expect this to be resolved... since I performed several functions that could have
caused it, but thought I'd share it just to get some ideas...
In OE, I had several folders containing sub-folders. Today I noticed I no longer had sub-folders.
I finally realized that all my subfolders had somehow moved from being sub-folders to regular
folders. I think I got everything moved back the way they were originally.
Yesterday I tried several times to install the Free AVG anti virus program but my system would
crash afterward. Probably because I had F-Secure security system installed. I also tried a trial
version of Acronis True Image, which I subsequently uninstalled. I also did a couple Restores
using Restore points. Somewhere in all that, I guess my sub-folders decided to bail out and
become regular folders????
