Whilst this solves the spelling problem, I don't understand how the average
user could be expected to know that Outlook Express does not have its own
spell check. It doesn't say on the box, and the Office 2007 box doesn't warn
of the damage it may do to other non-supported programs.

Microsoft could try and be a bit more hepful. We're not all software geeks.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:

Office 2007 breaks OE's spell check. Downloading a free spell check is the
simplest way around this.
