The millions of users that, like myself, never had an Office product would
realize right away that OE did not have a spell check of its own. You don't
have to be a software geek to see that.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in
Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:

Office 2007 breaks OE's spell check. Downloading a free spell check is
