Problem with opening attached files
Hi Bruce and thank you for your patience, sorry that doesn't work either.
Switched to Kodak Imaging for Windows. everything on my hard disk is now
displayed on this really fast, but the attachment is still greyed out.
Sorry!

Save a tif attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works and then check the box: Always
use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open
these attachments in the future. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer should work
if Corel doesn't.

Thanks Bruce for coming back so fast. Yes I did as you suggested, but the
problem still persists.

For IE6:
Clear the Temporary Internet Files: In IE | Tools | Internet Options |
Delete Files button. And check the box to Delete Offline content.
For IE7:
Tools | Internet Options | General Tab | Browsing History | Delete
Temporary
Internet Files.

Small problem with opening attached files on OE6. Every kind of
attachment
opens fine except TIF files that are greyed out. Yet I think I have my
extensions against file types set correctly because when I double click
any
Tif file residing on my hard disk the selected programme (in this case
Corel
PhotoPaint) opens immediately displaying that TIF image.
Yet when I take that same TIF file and send an email back to myself, via
my
local server, it is greyed out and cannot open. So I have to admit
defeat.
Can anyone come to my rescue please?
