Resetting the newsgroup (1) removes all messages in the given newsgroup and
(2) downloads anew the headers/messages currently residing on the server,
per your settings in Tools Options Read Get XX messages at a time (If
you uncheck this option, you'll download all headers/messages on the
server).

As I said before, the problem seems to be that I had made a change on the

Paging file location yesterday, and I've now corrected that setting to how

It was, but before I did quite a few messages disappeared in;

(ViewCurrentView Show all, and Show responses to my messages "checked")

After correcting the Setting of the paging file most messages reappeared

except for the one that I mentioned earlier. The problem seems to have

been mostly solved but I'd like to know what to do to recover that message

just for knowledge sakes.
