Is there any problem doing a "Language pack installation"? I received
an unsolicited email from a Chinese manufacturer that pertains to my
business, and although the message is in English, I get a "Language
pack installation" pop-up that says,
"To display language characters correctly you need to install the
following language pack: Chinese Simplified"
Is it OK to do that?

It's okay to do that, but there really isn't a reason to. If he sends in
English you should be able to read it, and you probably can't read the
Chinese anyway. BTW, at least for the current beta, Windows Vista appears
to display the Chinese without a problem, judging by the spam I receive.
