I'm having trouble sending emails with my outlook express 6. I was
able to send emails before when I bought my computer and I also had
Norton Virus but then I uninstalled it (Too may problems & I didnt
like it) and right after that thats when it stoped sending emails.
It
also just goes to my outbox folder the after that is when I get a
message. I can receive just not send. I have called Cox (My ISP) to
explaine to them my problem but they say everything is correct. I
was
thinking that maybe I should uninstall my outlook and reinstall it
but
then I didnt want to create more problems. Any help on this would be
great.

This is the error I receive when I try to send emails.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Cox Email',
Server:
'smtp.west.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

You don't have Outlook Express 6 on Vista. Please clarify.

Also, you ask about Outlook, another program. Please be clear about
what
program you mean.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I am new to this so how would I post this
