There are a number of DeskTop search apps, Windows Desktop Search for one, I
use Copernic. They wont appear within OL, but will have a search pane in
your task bar

that search field will limit the shown choices for the start menu to the

I am not talking about the search within OL2007, nor WSS. People using
Vista will probably know what I mean.
