do you have a firewall or antivirus or antispam scanning email? The firewall
could be blocking the url, or either of the others breaking it.

Make sure that there is a check next to Show Pictures under Contol

Hello,
Why do some of my emails in Outlook have just a little red x where a
picture or a link should be? How can I fix it so that does not happen?
Thanks.

I really wish there is a solution to this annoying problem. Mine started
in Mid Dec and too late to do a system restore. I have trried every
possible setting to no avail. Any picture or link in an HTML E-Mail that
starts http//and then a
www.link
just results in a red X with a "Click to
follow Link" if you hover over it. Right clicking only gives you the COPY
option
