Default Using OutLook 2007 Profile Generating file with multiple Exchange

Better ask this in an Exchange newsgroup as they know more about the
topology behind it.
I don't directly see why your workaround wouldn't work though. At least,
from an Outlook perspective ;-)

We would like to make a uniform deployment of Office 2007 Enterprise to
about
35 sites and 80 K users, but, have run into a problem creating a profile
generator that will work at all sites, as, there are 5 different Exchange
clusters servicing those sites.

If we insert the name of one of the clustered Exchange nodes, for any one
of
the sites, either it or one of its sister nodes is automatically picked
and
things work correctly, but, if the site is using one of the other 4
Exchange
clusters, it doesn't work.

Without creating separate profiles for each site, could a token or
environmental or ADS variable be used, rather than an actual server (I was
thinking I could push an environmental variable out to each site, i.e.,
%ExchangeServer%, and reference the name of THAT site's server, then the
profile generator would just be setup to point to %ExchangeServer%.

Not sure if any of this would work--anyone have a solution?

Thanks!
