Problem with Sharing Calendars Online
Please confirm that what you are saying is that it is a problem with Vista
and not with us.

I don't suppose you have a spare Windows XP Pro system you can use for file
sharing? (Or a windows server.)
You can publish the calendar locally if you have a system that supports
webdav - unfortunately, vista's iis server doesn't and I haven't yet figured
out how to make it work.

My wife and I work out of our home. We each have a new Dell laptop
running
Vista Home Premium & Outlook 2007. We have DSL thru Verizon and a Westell
ADSL+Versalink router (Model D90-327W15-06). Using the Share Calendars
Online function in Outlook, I loaded my calendar online (I’ve limited
viewing
to those I invite). I then sent her an email invitation to subscribe to
my
calendar. When she opened the email, she clicked on the “Subscribe to
this
Calendar” button and it asked for her username and password which she
entered
(yes, she had already setup a Microsoft Office Online account) but she got
an
error message “Access to the resource was denied. If you have signed into
and saved your Windows Live ID with a Web site, sign out of that Web site,
and then try this operation again.” When she invited me to view her
calendar, I got the same error message.
What are we doing wrong?
Is this occurring because we are on the same router at home?
Is there a solution?
