You MUST have a PST, if you're a home user, or Outlook would not operate.
Ask Outlook where your PST resides. FileData File Management or Control
PanelMailData Files.

If I did not have it displayed when I did the backup, would it
have saved the .pst file? I thought if I did a full back up of
everything on my C drive, it would save everything.


Depends entirely on the backup software and how it is configured to operate.
