I am trying to copy the file. Outlook is closed. Below is the message I am
getting when I try to paste it into another folder. I realize this isn't
difficult, but can't figure out why the heck I'm getting this message.
(I'll refrain on my comments regarding Vista.) Any other ideas to backup
this file so I can load OL2003 and hopefully get this new laptop working
properly. Thank you.

Close Outlook.
Copy your Outlook data file.
