It is not an Outlook issue - if your smartphone will not synch it, then consult the documentation for your smartphone. You may need to look at either category synching or the time period synched.

After furious head scratching, DL asked:

| I have been adding travel arrangements via the 'Add to Outlook'

| an Outlook dialog, selecting Save add it's to my calendar in my
| Desktop Outlook. Works great... This newly added appt will not
| activesync to my Smartphone. If I make any changes to the appt, still
| won't sync. If I create new appt manually, cut and paste the data in,
