You must use HTML as the message format.
Note that the gif-file doesn't animate while composing with Word as
the email editor or at all when using Outlook 2007. This doesn't affect
the animated gif itself for the receiver.
Well, unless the recipient is using a mail client that doesn't animate
animated gifs (like Outlook 2007). =)
