That's the whole purpose of Hotmail and the Outlook Connector: to keep the
messages on the server but access them through Outlook.

like a waste of time to use Outlook if I have to keep going to the
Website & deleteing emails. thanks in advance

What makes you think you can't delete them. Select a message and click
Delete. Works for everyone else.
