Default Empty Inbox

I believe the problem lies within the Account Settings dialog box because
there I am not allowed to change the filename. When attempting to change
settings it goes to Microsoft Office Outlook Connector dialog box prompting
me for my username and password, however, when I enter the info the box just
disappears with no further action.

BTW, I've did the below suggestion and as well I've removed and re-installed
Outlook but have the same results.

What folder lists are displayed in the Navigation Pane

I am trying to setup my MSN email account. I've checked every folder
that's
displayed and they all contain no new email. I've ran Office diagnostics,
ran Office repair for the source CD and still no results.

There are no filters to turn off.

What type of email account.
It might be you have one Inbox for a local PST file and one for your
Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live account. Check in the folder list when Mail is
selected.

I am not receiving any errors messages when initiating an Send/Receive,
however, my Inbox contains no mail. Ran "Scanpst.exe" however, still
no
email appears in my inbox.
