Default OE online at openning of OE

IE should show the same dial-up connections that are available to OE.

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6/7
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general

You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx
There select Internet Explorer

Mike..Thank you.

OE ok, but IE has all 3 radio buttons greyed out you mention.

If I understand you correctly, you have a dial-up connection to the
Internet and would like opening IE and/or OE to trigger the
dialing.

For IE go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections and select the
option to dial whenever an Internet connection is not present.

For OE you need to do 2 things
1) Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Connection, Always connect
using this account
2) Tools, Options, General - send and receive messages on start up.
