Default Importing from a CD

Did you read the bit about not overwriting any existing data file?
You use Explorer to select the File and then adjust properties & not the
folder which is what you appear to have selected

Thanks for your quick response. This is what happened:
From the Outlook folder on the HD, I right clicked & unchecked the
Read-Only
attribute. I press apply & a dialog box appears that reads "do you want to
apply this change to this folder or apply to all subfolders and files as
well?" I clicked "subfolder..." and opened up Outlook using
File/Open/Outlook
Data Files (showing Personal Folder File under File Type) and nothing
happens.

Incidently, the attribute box is checked again when I re-open properties.
What did I do wrong?

I saved my Contact folder using Outlook's Export to a CD. When I use
Import
or Outlook Data File, I receive "File Access is Denied. You do not have
permission required to access the file F:\Contact.pst" (F drive is where
my
pst. folder is).

Can someone shed a light on my problem? Thank you. MC
